               This was made for an order given by my office mate ... :) Loved making these flowers especially the pink ones. Once the flowers are made I shaded with Distress Inks.

FLOWERS IN BASKET

           This work is done for an order. Am planning to give it tomorrow. Today this work has been sent for framing. Once it is done I'll post the pic of it. And this work was inspired by a pic in pinterest. I guess that work was done by Vallerii. Sorry about the basket handle I tried hard but couldn't achieve it perfectly :)

QUILLED FRAME WORK WITH INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE

         This frame work is a gift to my  friend who is leaving our company for better opportunities so thought I could do it which would give some positive thoughts.. Since I dint have much time I planned to do few quilled flowers but at the same time it should be attractive... I gathered this quote from Rajni Chawla's quilled works.. For the letters I first wrote it using blue refill pen and upon that lined with light blue 3D glitter to give the sparkling effect.

          But when I started to write the sentence "Dream of being more" the handmade paper tore a bit .. Thank god for that .. That is how I came up with this punch flowers idea... In the centre of the flowers I have pasted stones.. Believe me the stones give more sparkle effect when compared with the photo.. My mother insisted to give the yellow flower which I denied initially but then adding yellow has given up more attractive effect....

         I personally love the usage of these punched flowers. What do you think.? Do drop your comment and suggestions :) And again my fingers are covered with plasters I cant escape from paper cuts :( :( :(

QUILLED 3D TEDDY

              This is my third attempt in doing 3D quilled miniature and this time I made for an order placed by my office colleague. She asked for a doll which can be placed near the car's windshield and she wanted me to do a similar to Nati's quilled teddy.. So I just started with the same idea but then since I dint have much paper strips of skin color I had to restrict the design and changed Nati's model a bit different...

             To give the quilled items a glossy look I gave the quilled doll a finish with my transparent glue(Fevicol).. Even if this is glossy at some points the glue was white even after drying.. So in order to cover it up I placed the fringed flowers.. Please do suggest me a good glue which could give a glossy and good transparent finish...:)

QUILLED FRAMEWORK

         This was an order from my School mate Sherin. She wants to gift a quilled work to her fiance and she wanted a similar work of Neli's Gabriela work...Also I had longed to do a similar work like Neli's.. So was very happie when she asked for it. 

         The centre heart piece is hand drawn & cut.. Fringed 3mm strips on stuck over it..Believe more than 100 pieces were used in it. Dint have a count of it though :P
